Jaye is a performance maker and creative collaborator interested in work that draws on personal histories, combining elements of the autobiographical and the theatrical. She is interested in the shared experience, making a connection with the audience and breaking the boundaries between the two.
Prior to working with Ellie on The Reservation, as part of Rabbit Damage, Jaye was successfully chosen to be the Bridging the Gap company for the pilot scheme managed by Maltings Theatre Berwick, ARC, Stockton Arts Centre and Theatre Royal Newcastle. The company were given six weeks rehearsal space and tech support to create the brand new work Wherever I Lay My Hat which played at each of the venues in September 2010.
Jaye is a member of ARCADE, ARC, Stockton Arts Centre’s performance artist’s network, a blogger and a reviewer for The Culture Vulture. As a collaborator, as well as performance skills she bring almost 10 years experience in arts marketing to the mix.
